Formed in Melbourne in June 2019 by vocalist and guitarist Keefy, drummer Rorz and original bassist Renj. Rawtism hit the scene in November 2019 with a sound that embodies their passion of metal and rock and determination to put on a huge show.
In January 2020, Naimo took over bass duties and they became far more rock solid ever since with stage presence and an arsenal of sound.
Rawtism has a mixture of influences that builds their sound and show. Mostly from 80’s American thrash metal bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Exodus and Overkill. Others including Kreator, Sodom, Motorhead, Mortal Sin, Hobb’s Angel of Death, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy and Rush.
